HOME ICE COMPANY
Ice can be judged using the same 4 Cs as with diamonds (Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat), plus an additional “P” for Purity from contaminants that may not be visible to the naked eye but that may affect the taste of the drink.
Water is a bit of an obsession with us at Home Ice. We begin with purified drinking water, and further Purify it through our own reverse osmosis (RO) system to virtually eliminate contaminants that may affect taste, and to ensure that the ice is truly Colorless. As impurities also lower the melting point of ice, our ice melts slower, therefore cooling your drink with minimum dilution.
For Clarity, we make our ice using Clinebell ice machines, the industry standard for making clear, directionally frozen ice.
Finally, for Cut and Carat (size), we cut cubes and cuboids to whatever size you may need, and we charge by volume, so there’s no extra charge for custom cuts.
Our price is $0.05/cubic inch.
A 2” cube, for example, is 2 x 2 x 2 x $0.05 = $0.40 per cube.
We offer free delivery within our “Free Delivery Zone” which is in (or near) the 610 Loop, and the Katy Freeway & Westpark Tollway corridors to (and including) Katy and Fulshear. Additional delivery charges and minimums may apply outside this zone. We also work with other distributors who may be able to supply our ice to you outside the zone.

Please note that we are exclusively a “business to business” supplier to bars, restaurants and distributors. Unfortunately, we do not sell retail. There is, however, a really nice liquor store (with a rabbit logo) in Midtown that does. We also do not do events unless they are in a bar or restaurant that we serve.
