Ice can be judged using the same 4 Cs as with diamonds (Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat), plus an additional “P” for Purity from contaminants that may not be visible to the naked eye but that may affect the taste of the drink.

Water is a bit of an obsession with us at Home Ice.  We begin with high quality drinking water and further Purify it through our own reverse osmosis (RO) system to virtually eliminate contaminants that may affect taste, and to ensure that the ice is truly Colorless.  As impurities also lower the melting point of ice, our ice melts slower, therefore cooling your drink with minimum dilution.  

 

For Clarity, we make our ice using a Clinebell ice machine. Clinebell is the industry standard for making clear, directionally frozen ice. Finally, various Cuts and Carats (size) are shown in our product lineup; we offer a variety of both, and can also make custom shapes and sizes to fit your needs.
